  • So far it's a day of nearly did its............

Chilli's, sweet peppers and toms are outside again but thats about it as.....

Went to put the liners and water retaining sheets in the hanging baskets so they could have MPC shoved in - nope can't find the liners. I have a really bad feeling that they are in the OH's shed never to be seen again.

So, I thought I would take my maiden voyage into the world of slugatodes - Nope as after reading the instructions it is too sunny, hot and dry.

I am now eyeing up the pumpkin and Q seeds to start them again as my last lot were very snotty about staying alive on the window ledge so lets see what they think about outside under plastic cloches?

See it is just getting wopse as this is in the wrong thread as I have harvested nowt - please can a wonderful MOD shove it where it belongs please................no not there but in the What I Did ('nt) Today thread.

                  • Managed to spend the best part of 2 hours greenhouse shuffling. A whole bench of stuff is now outside permanently, new things have been added to the 'outside during the day' section, and I've almost moved the last bits from the windowsills up to the greenhouse. Was still t-shirt weather at 8pm

                    • Lovely day here today and our house viewings have been moved to tomorrow so a full day in the garden!

Transplanted borlotti beans (known to us as Jack the beanstalks - they're huge) into their final pot, back inside for the night at the moment - although its still very warm out.

Sowed lettuce and pak choi seeds which arrived in todays magazine. Repotted and decapitated chillies. De-armpitted and re-staked tomatoes. And gave everything a big water - nearly all the potatoes are through now. Re-potted sage and thyme - although the thyme is looking very sorry for itself!

Why is it it takes you all day but seems like nothing?!

Oh and also ordered 3 citrus trees - lemon, lime and orange.

                              • Moved Toms, Sunflowers & Dahlias out of greenhouse.

Bit of weeding, dug out a Delphinium that wasn't making it and replaced with one that did.

Bit of watering & tidying up.
