Potted on the scotch bonnets re planted some lupins had a lovely wood fire in the shed and a bottle of beer . Or and got the bus stop ready (my sought of inside with a bit of outside greenhouse ready for the new imminent arrival of my big onions )
When you have a hammer in your hand everything around you starts looking like a nail.
Cut some grow bags in half, stood them on their ends, punched a couple of drainage holes in the bottom of each half and planted a seed tattie in each one. Never done it before, will report how it goes.
Potted on some zinnias and some climbing petunias, and repotted some mange tout peas I bought from homebase. They look a bit limp but slightly crispy on some of the leaves, ive probably left them too long. Also deweeded (and de-potatoed) a big section on the new plot, will go over and cover it over with membrane tomorrow.

Probably got pneumonia because of the atrocious weather, but battled on and got all the roof trusses fitted to my Summerhouse. Had to buy a spirit level this morning as I wanted to make sure that everything was plumb in the area the glass will be fitted. I had left my spirit level at my project hoiuse and didn't fancy driving 20 miles each way to get it!Glad I did as Summerhouse wasn't quite plumb but after some gentle persuasion and releasing tensions on certain areas by removing screws I managed to get the frame square.
The next job is to start putting a roof on by utilising what's left of the ply and OSB board I have lying around.
Before I left home I sowed some Passion Fruit seeds taken from a shop bought Passion fruit. They may be an addition to my summerhouse in the future!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
What did I do today?
Potted up 12 teeny Sweet Aperitif plugs that dropped through the letterbox.
Pricked out 12 courgettes and 20 BNS from the old seed experiment.
Went to H0meb@se and filled the boot with yellow sticker plants - pansies, stock, bellis @98p for 6 & 2 huge marguerites reduced to £1.50 from £8. Also some 50p herbs.

I've been putting off the allotment shed roof repair since we got the plot... The day finally came!
Off with the old rotten wood, New wood on, sealed and some galvanized corrugated steel.. should see me out!
Got the heating going in the greenhouse a couple of days ago and checked the last 2 nights minimum temps today. Lowest it's been overnight is 20 degrees, so potted up some of the tomato plants.
Finally got round to sowing some courgette seeds and started preparing a bed to lay the free seed tapes from suttons, but it started peeing it down, so retreated to the house and a nice cuppa.
