    • Finally finished potting up the last of my tomatoes. A lot of them have buds on and Sungold and Gemma have already got some flowers.
Potted on some Parsley and Thyme that I grew from seed.
      Earthed up the potatoes.
      Planted up another window box.
Planted out some Dahlias sown from seeds.
Lots of other little jobs that take time and energy.
Oh, and I almost forgot, played 18 holes of pitch and putt this morning.
      Shattered now.

      • For the 3rd day in a row this week I worked 11hrs so couldn't tend to the patch

Hubby has been great though and has been keeping everything watered, I think that he is slightly over watering but I daren't say anything otherwise he will cop a strop and everything will go without water!

Fingers crossed that I can find time tomorrow to do a spot check!

It's crazy that I work from home and yet can't find time to get out to the back garden, grrrrrrr.

        • Well I spent two hours this morning at the plot & it looks like ive done nothing! I dug over a 2x2m area and pulled out a bucketful of bindweed roots. I put in 12 sweetcorn plants and realised the other strip only has 10 in it, which means I cant now have a perfectly even square of plants!
The woodchipping man arrived and i snaffled 2 barrowloads full. Its a bit green and leylandi-y, but its free. Will go back at lunchtime I think.

            • Just as I was about to leave for the lottie the doorbell went - the postie was delivering my Udo - whoop whoop, tha'll go into a little shady part of the plot once it's grown up a bit (and i've cleared the duck cage and weeds)

Got down the lottie and looked at my bean nets, decided to take them down and rebuild them as they weren't square - finished that just as it started to rain.

In the greenhouse potted up some everlasting onions. Filled 5 eighths of a polythene raised bed planter thing with compost and planted some toms, chillies, a sweet pepper and an aubergine.

Assembled some tomato cages and managed to have bits left over to use on something else.

Chatted and nosed about a bit.

              Then went home

Tied the toms up and made myself a bacon and egg buttie which was lovely

                            • Planted out leeks, repotted several fibrous begonias that look very sick. Hopefully they will pick up. Put cobea into large pot near the fence, potted up 2 planters with French marigolds and begonias.
Didn't have a lot of time in the garden today, showers and shopping got in the way.
