    Need to get 2016 rolling!

Had enough of sitting on my hands. Got a variable temperature heated propagator for Christmas and I haven't used it yet. Too wet to go to the allotment so had to settle for sowing some seeds:

    Chillies:
Habanero Katie, Habanero Lucy, Habanero Peach, Habanero Fruit Burst, Habanero Big Sun, Habanero Lemon, Habanero Red, Monster Naga, Cornish Naga, White Bhut Jolokia, Carolina Reaper, Datil, Harold st. Barts, Yellow Flame, Lemon Drop

    Plus:
    Eucalyptus blue gum
    Eucalyptus lemon gum
Posted on an iPad so apologies for any randomly auto-corrected gobbledegook

I didn't sow anything today but I sowed Celery 'Marine' and Shallot 'Zebrune' and Shallot 'Simiane F1' seeds on Saturday. Pricked out my Onion 'Ailsa Craig', 'Bedfordshire Champion', 'Exhibition' and 'The Kelsae' seedlings out into 2 inch pots today and yesterday

Ok, deciding which ones took too long so only got 9 varieties planted up.

          Marmande,
          Moneymaker,
          Gardener´s delight,
          Gold rush currant,
          Red Pear,
          Yellow Pear,
          Red alert

A large beefsteak my neighbour insisted i saved the seed so i have called it Andres after him

A yellow small/medium tomato that was one of my favourites last year which i have just called awesome yellow as i cannot remember the name

The rest will have to wait till next week
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

I've also caved and bought some grow lights...

I'm sowing my oysterleaf in pots outside today.

Have never started my other sowing this early in the year before but might get a few seeds in, just to experiment and compare.

I can't wait to start my chilli sowing season, do those of you that have already started use grow lights?
I usually start around now but my method is to pray to the chilli gods for bright sunny days that shine gloriously on my over filled window sills!
                            Not very botanical is it?
I must admit I've had varied results ( due to the chilli gods, obviously )

Sowed: Satan's Kiss, Pasilla Bajio, Fish, Chupetinho, Alberto's Locoto, Serrano Tampiqueno, Trepadeira Werner, Orange Wonder (thank you Lisa/VSP)

Hopefully my growlights will arrive today. My trust in Vickilou's chilli gods not being that high at present...
