  • Today it was time for a pea .............and a few greens

    16 peas of each (4 peas in a module)
    Opal Creek
    Spring Blush
    Bishops Grey
    Sugar Lord
    Sugar Bon

    Brassicas - 8 seeds of each, 2 to a module
    Summer Purple Sprouting
    Brokali - Apollo
    Calabrese - di Cicco
    Cabbage - Savoy Estoril
    Cauliflower - Candid Charm

    All now sitting on the dining table - good job nobody comes to dinner these days

          Toms- white queen, black cherry, cuor di bue, Irish supersweet.
          Tomatilloes.
          Cherry bomb chillis
          cape gooseberries.
          Flowers- echinaecia (probably spelt that wrong)

          also sowed chard 'bright lights' in uunheated greenhouse.

                        • Started chitting some Parsnip white gem seeds today. Hopefully I'll start seeing the first little roots in a couple of weeks.

                          • Last night i put some parsnip seeds on damp kitchen roll to chit - these are last year's seeds, so it'll be interesting to see how many germinate.
                            Also sowed some leeks in one of those plastic tubs that mushrooms come in.

                              I done this with last years as well. They've been on the damp kitchen roll for 12 days now and still nothing which is why i started chitting this years parnip seed the other day.

                                I also, also did this and nothing. Bloomin parsnips. I've some fresh seed so will crack that open soon.
                                While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.
