Last night I chitted carrot samurai and nantes 5 as well as parsnip hollow crown in damp kitchen roll, as I'm not having much luck outside. I also added approx 10 each sweet banana and carne di toro chilli seeds to the propagator, and about 30 golden cayenne.

Yesterday I planted out 4 huge pots of rooster seed potatoes & 1 bag of British queen. Sowed twinkle peas or bingo peas,I was going to use both,then just stuck to the one variety,they all look the same.

Vegetables: Pea, Butternut Squash, Pepper, Cucumber, Courgette, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Cabbage
Bean Borlotti (bush), Sweetcorn

Flowers: Delphinium, Larkspur, Hollyhock, Calendula

Have just laid:
1 Sheet of Parsnips, 1 Sheet of Beetroot, 1 Sheets of Turnip & 9 x 1 foot lengths of Swede Tape. All in SFG beds............It is such a breeze doing it this way.

Orange scented thyme sounds nice SP. Can I ask where you got the seeds from? And how do you grow it? I've tried ordinary thyme a couple of times and had no success. I suspect I don't take enough care as the seeds are so tiny.

Sorry for the delayed reply mothhark. I got the seeds from eeebay. I sow them in modules (attempting thinly). In polytunnel, in unheated propagator.

Sowed a few spring onion seeds in the bucket where I originally sowed some. Some didn't germinate so I was just filling in the gaps.
