Teeny-weeny baby carrots (sown in a tub in March), 3 whopping courgettes, 2 beetroot:
All have since been consumed.. Beetroot leaves wilted in a splash of olive oil and chopped garlic (oh yes, that was home grown too!!) along with roughly chopped courgetteAttached Files~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
a prescription ... And with no limit on dosage.

Lsat year's swiss chard flowers, cabbage sarmash (all the tastier because it was old seed bought for 25p) -a new variety to me but is excellent. Courgettes, mangetout, charlotte and duke of york potatoes, raspberries (a few, strawberries, a small bunch of carrots. Oh yes the first two sungold tomatoes, which being the dutiful wife I shared.

Picked my first couple of squash. One was the recommended size but the other one I picked a bit prematurely. Not sure how I'm cooking these yet but not much on them so might just slice and fry.
Attached FilesLOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

I'm still waiting for my first cuc to flower ...............
