Today I harvested - 2016

  • 2 summer squash, bowl of runners, handful of mangetout, few onions and a few tomatoes.
    LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

        • 2 different types of plum, one courgette, some mixed mustard leaves (mostly giant red, that stuff grows so fast), last few mangetout, Charlotte potatoes plus a couple of Desiree by accident!

          • Yesterday & today really. 4 more courgettes, lots of mangetout & peas, lettuce, tomatoes. Have to chop off the peashoots as masses there & they go tough if to big. Also need to pick some Swiss chard as have buckets of the stuff. Oh, picked french beans as well. Need to get cooking....

            • Courgettes, broad beans, basil for a bake then tomatoes, lettuce, radish, nasturtium seeds peas, chives for a salad.

                          • Todays harvest. Only oneTomato, but its big enough to feed the entire family. I think the Tromboncino needs an X certificate!
