Today I harvested - 2016

My first ever beefsteak tomato, still a little green but it was starting to split, so it can finish ripening in the kitchen. Weighs 438 grams I am so pleased.

Three youngster tromboncino - had them curried as a side dish for tea tonight..... Lovely!

30+ onions, a bag of mystery potatoes, loads of purple beans, handful of broad beans, 6 tomatillos, 12 beetroot, a punnet of blackberries and the world's smallest melon.

Also this lovely looking apple - I don't know what variety it is but it's from a small tree in the back garden .........

With help of a now 3 year old I harvested courgettes, peas, runners & mangetout plus 1 tomato. OH grabbed some huauzontle & chard for dinner, & I picked another handful of dfb - going to have to blanch & freeze some more, plus runners.
