    Location....East Midlands.

    • Picked loads of runners, 2 big Marketmore cucumbers, a punnet full of Sungold and mystery mini-red-cherry toms, a big juicy Black Krim, ditto a Russian 117 tomato, 6 courgettes, my first ever broccoli, a punnet of contorted radishes (when french breakfast germinates under shade netting!), 6 undersized cucamelons, a few sprigs of greek basil and a fat bunch of oregano. Nibbled on a sweet-potato leaf and multiple baby runners. Given a big scoop full of Charlotte potatoes by my neighbours, and later cooked a pudding of clafoutis made of my own frozen gooseberries.

                • Went into the polytunnel this morning and could smell melon. I've not been looking after them at all and had to go looking for it. It had become detatched from the plant - may be the local rats were trying to make off with it. Anyway it tasted delicious, had a 1/4 for breakfast. probably weighed 2lb as I weighed 1/2 after breakfast at about 1 lb.

                  • a bit of alsorts here.
In total there was 5.6kg runners.
It would have all cost just over 40 quid at tesco so that's my seeds and plot rent more than paid for without any of the other harvests

                        • Blueberries, blackberries, lentils, chickpeas, broad beans, purple beans, assorted tomatoes, tomatillos, mystery potatoes, carrots, Trinidad perfume & Trinidad scorpion chillies, 2 marrows (oops), kale, chard sunburst squash, a pumpkin and another 8 aubergines.

Anyone have any good aubergine recipes? Have been freezing and pickling them and have still eaten so many I'm getting sick of the things. Got at least another 20 coming...
