Today I harvested - 2016

  • Yesterday I forgot to post my harvest.
    Tomatoes, courgette, parsnip, swede, broccoli, kale, carrots, Spring onions, and sage.
    It was all for last nights tea. It's now for tonight's tea. We couldn't be bothered last night we had scrambled egg on toast

    • More huauzontle - yum. 2, yes 2 runners, dfb, cucs, toms, raapini, rasps, blackberries, purple carrots. Children harvested sorrel for a post breakfast pre school snack

        Radicchio - 2 spring onions (not in picture) - 2 cucumbers and lots of baby carrots. And lots of baby beetroot

              Kilos of tomatoes and...... Drum roll......
              Over a kilo of strawberries, what on earth is that all about! We still have loads more flowers and little strawbs ripening.
              This year has been crazy.

                        • Today courgettes, cucs, chard, dfb, runners (finally starting to produce in ok quantities - think the bees got distracted by squash flowers ), masses of toms.

                          Over the weekend blackberries, rasps, dfb, sorrel, chard, toms, runners.
