        • On Saturday I dug a bed of Charlotte potatoes. It was a decent sackful, I had to stop and rest a couple of times carrying them to the car. They have sat in the ground nicely for the last couple of months, no significant slug damage. It was hard work though, the ground is still like concrete.

I cleared all the ripe seed pods from runner bean "The Czar" and borlotti beans. Now I need to find some recipes!

                            • Tomatoes!
Not harvested today but they were picked green, because of blight, and have been ripening in trays. Didn't lose many to blight so feeling
