    • Clearing out the plot yesterday, I harvested some unfortunately stringy runner beans courgette, cavolo nero and one little 'accidental' melon (I thought I was growing pumpkin. That failed to germinate and instead I got melon self-seeded in homemade compost.)

          • Today I've harvested kale, broccoli, a pathetic excuse for cauliflower, another parsnip disguised as an octopus, sprouts, leek and a swede.
All of which is going with tonight's roast pork

              • 2 little gourds. A white one that supposed to be warty and wasn't. Is that a good thing? An egg shaped one with green at the top and bottom. 3 yellow raspberries! 1lb of toms of my sun lounger that went into courgette provencal with my hot wax chilli and my last black beauty courgette. Slugs ate my last round courgette.

                  • A Durham early cabbage before the slugs eat it themselves. Freezer job.

                    And some kale.

See size 9 trainer for scale haha. Time to have some cabbage and kale with chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner

                      • Picked the last of my Sungold, Black Cherry, Dances with Smurfs, Picollo and three plants of a long life tomato. Dont know the name of this one but it is a very prolific plant.
Lots of Cayanne, Hot Wax and Jalapino as well.
