May
Near the hotbin
A dusty pink hue over everything is the remains of the repointing work I had done. Its taking its time to disappear!
Near the apple tree
Broccoli has nearly finished. My poor Charlotte potatoes have been nipped by the frost despite the covers
From under the archway
Carrots are growing under the covers near the garage, and spinach in the covered saladgrow planter. Flowers on the early Meteor peas and potatoes in the growhouse. The pot with its own net houses newly sown turnips.
The dark area behind the fruit cage
Buckets of potatoes on the raised beds and some salad leaves growing well in the fruit cage.
The veg garden
Peas, onions and spinach in the cold frame growing well.A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP. - Leonard Nimoy

I had a late start with gardening this year so didn't start any sowing until April. But now feel like I'm starting to make up for lost time.
This is my windowsill jungle:
Really pleased with my Mother's Day pressie of the unheated propagator pots with lids. They're so easy to grow from seed in and tray fits nicely in bay window.
Cat has been so good with all the plants taking up the window space she normally likes to sit in. Runner beans are growing like magic Sorry to get so excited but never grown them before nor squash so the fast growth on all these things is pretty amazing!
Planning to get them planted out tomorrow so long as I can figure a sensible way to cover runner beans at night in case of frost. I'm sure I can concoct something from all the junk in the garage.
They will be going in the new raised beds at back of garden. When we moved in this house the back garden was just plain grass. It stayed that way for many years because the house needed so much work. So gradually it's getting nicer. Most proud of my wildlife section right at the back with bird feeders, bath and frogs.
So that's where I'm at. Hopefully better late than never and looking forward to some yummy things to eat.LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
