    January:

Here we are again, here's my January blank canvas's:

Not a lot going on here, a lot of leaves need clearing. The Leeks & Onions are doing well. Still some Parsnips to pull in readiness for sowing Carrots, a new Parsip bed has been made along with a new Bean structure:

The Squash Pallets have lots of rogue tatties coming through so may as well leave them:

The pond is rather upsetting, I've had to net it from the floor about 6ft (you can only see the bottom as the rest is black netting) high to stop Mr Heron gaining access. An entrance has been made so I can get to the island to feed George:

Yeah! The 2016 Calander is off!
Got up this morning after having a much needed "Lie In" With the intention of actually going down the plot "Which I've been nowhere near for a good few weeks" work committed, n starting this "Video" Blog thing I mentioned yesterday, It being the first day of the new year, and the poor place as been neglected, I was hoping to show it in the "Flesh" Because it is untidy! And show you progress from there!

Been vandalised again! Although repairable! Just down right annoying! Cleared most today, finish it tomoz! So my introduction to "Holywood" will be Posponed!

Sorry to hear that Deano. I can only think of one word but it's unprintable.

Can't believe it Deano. Your plots so close to houses and nobody saw anything!

I'd say "Not On" But seriously! I've come to learn n get on with it! It happens! Apart of "Allotmenteering" I guess! Annoying! But part of the process!

I can't understand why people want to vandalize things. What's the point? Not a nice thing to find to start the new year

Same old garden but some slightly different angles for the new year, taken on a dark and miserable January afternoon.

                          Near the hotbin

A lone pot of brokali with some spears ready to harvest. The path is still flooded.

                          Near the apple tree

Couple of pots of rather pathetic leeks. Currant bush needs pruning.

From under the archway looking south

Still plenty of carrots in the carrot cage and a view of the new raised bed next to the compost bin, where the gooseberry has joined the blackcurrant in its new pot. Spinach, mispoona and strawberries in the growhouse and various random pots of veg littered about.

The dark area behind the fruit cage

Fruit bushes and remnants of winter veg all looking a bit wintery now.

                          The veg garden

Herbs, strawberries and brassicas under nets. I've eaten the ripe wild strawberry that was on the shelf near the fence. The fleece on the ground is to deter next door's cat from using the soil as a large litter tray.

Ok I shall join properly this year as I don't feel so wussy about the patch.

Last Jan. (as you enter the patch)

Today (same angle as you enter the patch)

Last Jan (bottom half of patch)

Today (bottom of patch but looking towards the front)
