Any friends might have to be quite large, or they may just end up as George's dinner.

I would love some more but although the pond has a 5ft high net all round, this Heron is like Houdini.

Just one picture today, I think I am now ready for the main event of the year. Greenhouse looks a little foggy as I have a sulphur candle burning.

Not much done since last time, building of hotbed, bb's and some odd peas planted, fruit trees tied and pruned, a bit of a hoe and another tunnel thing done.

Here is a pic of hotbed 1 (well as far as I have got)

Then lastly my scary amount of over wintered nursery plants

Last 3 photos have been flipped and are here . VC http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ml#post1424414

I cannot get moved in the greenhouse and tunnel for overwintering stuff in pots! Both structures are going to look incredibly bare once all those plants get put in their permanent beds!

Probably not for long though once I start my serious vegetable & flower seed sowing

Slowly but surely I am regaining control over those pesky weeds on Plot RR34

I think my plot is in a bit of a sheltered sun trap but yep, it definitely said 14c on the thermometer It was a balmy 24c in the greenhouse Overnight we had a reading of -2c
