Was there one called showman or showmaster, I think I have seen something like that at a local show, it was quite large and in a section for onions growen from sets, it is that I was trying to find.Last edited by rary; 14-01-2016, 09:10 PM.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Marshalls did an onion called Showmaster, don't know if it is still available. For an onion from sets it grew very well in terms of size but it was no good for showing as it was illshaped and it was impossible to get uniformity of size and shape.Last edited by Aberdeenplotter; 14-01-2016, 09:23 PM.

Thanks folks, it was showmaster I was looking for, but I can only find it in seed, so I take it that it is not avaliable as sets any longerit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Thanks folks, as I dont grow for show, it becomes too costly to buy seedlings. So thanks for all the input.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
