Hi Lads and Lassies, it's been a while since I pestered anyone and I missed you all. I was thinking about growing dwarf broad beans in pots; something along the line of Robin Hood (as I'm the only one who likes 'em) but I'm not sure what size of pot would be optimal? Many thanks in advance for replying (and I'll look like a dope if you don't .....no wait....)

I've got The Sutton broadies growing in a greenhouse bed now. They are about a foot high. The Sutton are one of the types that can be started in Autumn or Spring! My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Broad beans
Must get on with the broad beans. I'm using grow bags which I hope will be ok? Hope I've left it too late for them?
Would you recommend leaving the grow bag inside the greenhouse or put outside? Thanks
Hope I've not left it too late! D'ohLast edited by SusieG; 20-02-2016, 05:21 PM.~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need

I've started mine off in the cold greenhouse a couple of weeks ago. Some are through, but not all yet. Plan to harden off and plant out once I have the ground ready . I am the only one who likes them too but what I don't eat fresh go into the freezer.I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.
