Oh wow Scoot. Good luck with that, they look like they shoulda gone into the next pot size up not into final resting place (bad choice of words) yet.
Are they at home or on a lottie ?

......and 2 cucumber plants
Salads this summer !...summer?

What difference does the size of the pot make? They'll be in the same place with the same temperature with the same soil only more of it because they are in larger pots.
Maybe none Scoot.
I can only speak from my own experience and it just seems that sometimes they get scared . I just like the root system to build up before i pot them on into a slightly larger pot.
It may work for you, i hope it does, just the few times i tried going from tiny to huge, it just failed.

Hopefully they'll be ok. I wouldn't normally have done it myself but due to them looking a tad worse for wear, I had to do it. Some of them are about 6 or 7 inches tall. Fingers crossed anyway
I may be miles off but I always thought that it was because the big pots hold alot of water in the soil when wet and the small plants wont use it all meaning they are constantly sitting in cold wet compost early season.
I sow my cucumbers direct into big pots and personally find as long as I only water a little near to the plant its fine.

Ah, their bigger than i thought then Scoot. The pics make them look tiny.
Was a bit worried about 3 of my toms they are really little.so I looked them up ...mini bel ..never grown a small bush one before, felt a bit silly after that .didn't know they was that small.
Planted my sick looking Shirley plant (now recovered and growing rapidly - its over 2ft high) and 2 smaller Shirley sideshoots in a gro-bed in my friend's greenhouse. The bed is inside a tomato growhouse for extra protection if the weather turns cold (likely).
