          • Susie, plenty to pick from there to save seed .....you could join the chilli circle Scoot if you pot your toddler in a 160litre tub you may get a fab harvest so you could join the circle too

I wouldn't have the room for it to grow that big haha.

I met that lady at the EGS. I got lots of plants and seeds from her. Very nice helpful lady
I had seen that video before, and maybe it's me, but has anyone ever had anything even nearly like those plants with the masses of chillies??
I get good harvests, but never anything like that!
As said before, what are they feeding them

The chilli plants that gets I pinch out to encourage a bushy plant would be the faster growing varieties. The ones that will give you a decent crop this year. The slower varieties I hope to overwinter, they often don't fruit that well in their first year and don't grow that fast. I often have to prune these during the dormant season. There isn't a hard or fast rule here. It's up to you if you want to pinch them out, some I do, some I think are branching out without help. I often do it with flowers, fushias etc. if you have two plants you could just experiment with one?

I've just watched and am feeling totally inadequate!!

I pinched out some of my chillies today too - felt like I was committing chilli GBH!

                          :
I'd never seen the video before, pretty gobsmacked to be honest. I looked on their website thinking that perhaps the are growing in heated GH's. They say plant in final pots in May. I'm in the South West even my tomatoes are carried indoors some nights in May so leaving tender chillies out then isn't always possible.

I watched a few videos for them to say what "liquid" feed they were using and they don't add to that. My black naga last year didn't manage to produce one chilli

                          • According to "seaspringseeds" comments in Sparrows vid link, she puts them into unheated greenhouse mid april. In Dorset .
