My Dorset naga looked like that after re potting. So I did give him a feed, he looked a lot better after a couple of days.
Do you use chilli feed or tomato feed ?
Because I'm spoiling my chilli's this year and brought them proper chilli feed. It does say to feed 5 ml per Lt then increase feed when they start flowering to 10ml per Lt weekly.

All mine were started beginning of Feb. I know they will catch up.
Scarlet, are your plants outside already? Looks that way from your pictures. If you're watering them and they're in a cold'ish environment so staying wet for long periods then that may well be contributing to the yellowing.
It could also be your water - if you use tap water with chlorine and whatever else gets added to it that could be the issue. No problem for older plants but tap water can adversely affect sensitive seedlings. If you boil the water first then leave it to cool down theoretically the chemicals will dissipate. Reverse Osmosis (RO water) is one of the most effective methods of filtration available; home kits are several hundred pounds to buy pluss the filtering process takes ages, but if you have anywhere near you that sell aquarium / pond supplies chances are they'll have an RO facility out the back, and you can purchase ready filtered RO water for just a few pounds for many litres worth (or however much you want). If all that sounds like a lot of hassle, just buy a bottle of deionized water (the type recommended for steam irons and car batteries). I get 5L containers from Halfords (about £4 - your local garage will be a lot pricer), which lasts from seed sowing right through to second potting up usually.
And definitely be feeding them when you water; Chilli Focus ideal of course, or any nitrogen rich additive.

Aha, in a previous post somewhere Scarlet, i stated that the only chilli i had fed so far was my Satans Kiss and that ( your picture) was the reason why, looked very yellow.
The rest of my chillis are truly lush, a gorgeous shade of green.
Anyway, despite the feed they still hold that yello colour so im guessing that may just be the way they are, some googling coming up .

That's the worse one Jack..some of the others look a little yellow but nothing like the Satans Kiss. I will feed them and post pics if they look better!
Philthy, they are outside during the day and back in at night....I'm using rain water.
I'm going to get some chilli focus today.Last edited by Scarlet; 16-04-2016, 10:24 AM.

I'm planning on potting up AND pinching out today, is there any reason I shouldn't do both at once!?
Thanks guys and gals!
So then pinching em out may just about "Do em in" But again, I'm no expert, just my personal opinion!"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"
