I'd give them a bit longer before giving up hope.
I sow so early for 2 main reasons ( neither logical)
No1 I can't wait to start playing with seeds
No2 I need to start playing with seeds

Update on my chillies...royal black (I have two ) look healthy enogh and looks like it will be a bushy plant but it's not growing much.
The photo actually makes these look a little yellow but they do look much better in the flesh most of the pale yellow leaves have gone after the diluted feed given over a week ago.

It's been a few years since growing chilli, (did them then over wintered managing another 2 yrs). I have sown some (not through yet) I was late sowing but even without fruit I will over winter these.
Anyway I bought (cheated) , 1 Fresno , 1 Apache. I can't remember if I pinched them out in the past or shall I just let them ramble on, they arnt tall yet and still indoors.Northern England.

I usually look at each plant individually, if they look like they are just growing just one stem straight up I'll pinch out, others I'll just leave to get on with it.
Very excited to spot this :
The first of my black naga fruit - ive waited just 15 months for this babyAttached Files
