Looking good, Tripmeup. I'd take the flowers off though, open or not.
My seeds this year are a disaster. All my seedlings have had to be binned as I was away from home for a few days and forgot to take the trays off the sunny windowsills or water them sufficiently beforehand. So they all dried out and shrivelled up. Could've been worse - I deliberately didn't sow too many this year, just a few each of Datil, Goat Horn, Inferno, Hot Lemon, Espelette, and Calico - but it's still a tad frustrating having invested that time in them.
So I will be looking to add to my plugs already acquired a bit later in the year. So cheating a bit this time around
I'm considering getting some more plug plants as well. All my seedlings are fine, I'm just getting a bit obsessed by chilli's this year. Nothing will be happening if we don't start getting temperatures in double figures ( it's got to happen soon......hasn't it?). I'm still also considering a chilli festival.
I've got a bit caught up with chillies this year too...I'm hoping we get some to swap I'm so chuffed with my two overwintered Black Nagas. I can't wait to get them in the GH.
A tray of mine have survived falling off the edge of the bath, but I do have waaaaay too many. Likewise tomatoes. Culling time is fast approaching, though I absolutely HATE doing it.

Thanks Philthy..I have 59 plants tho (i'd give you some if you were a tad closer ) so I have been pinching out some and taking flowers off many of them..Leaving some on at this stage on some plants for comparison purposes...
I think with 59 plants I'll have plenty to work with
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

My advice is always to take them off but the same as you, if I have loads of plants to play with I will let some fruit early as it doesn't matter if they run out of steam early on.
One of my overwintered lemon drops has been fruiting for a while. Handy to have some fresh chillies now and hopefully the other two overwintered ones will take its place later on in the season
Ive only pinched out one so far. It had started to form some small flower heads so I pinched the top off. I don't ever remove any leaves from the lower plant unless they are brown/damaged as they need those.
I watched a film on utube and the guy took some of the bottom leaves as well to make it sprout out better ,it uses the energy to push out the new side shoots ,and not make all the leaves bigger..sorry I can not explain.it properly
