Quick chilli update, sorry for the poor photos, and everything's on the wet side after coming home to wilted plants...

Other half came home with these this afternoon

Blue one is for chilli pots, grey one is a water butt, it may end up as a water tank or chilli pots (still at the negotiating table over this one).
We do have another blue one but we have to wait for the sparrow to hatch and rear her chicks

I managed 11 (and I did know the answer to the first question). I think it should have been 12 really as I knew that SHU was originally measured by the number of times it could be diluted in sugared water until the heat could no longer be detected but I'm fairly certain that the capsaicin content is measured with a spectrometer nowadays so I think that question was a bit unfair.

I now have a lot of flower buds on my chillies - at what point can I let them develop? I dont know whether to bag them or dispose of them!

Took my over wintered down to the allotment yesterday, trimmed, repotted n fed!

This morning they had clearly taken me off thier "Chritmas card list"
