Wyevale Garden Centre in Lewes (East Sussex) have chilli plug plants, x6 to a tray, reduced to £3 a time. They're actually pretty good quality, not yellowed or stunted or on their last legs, and average about 5" height. They had x2 Thai Dragon (brilliant ) / x2 Fresno (pretty good) / x2 cayenne (allrounder), for the equivalent of 50p each which is an absolute bargain really. Good selection of other chilli plants too not on special but competitively priced nonetheless. If you're in that area and looking to top up this year's list it's recommended. Other branches might have similar promotions but I don't know so don't quote me...
My over wintered habanero has got flowers, I presume I can let them be. There is a fair amount of leaf in the plant but no long branches. Some of the chillie I got from Al*i are trying to flower. They are about 6 inches tall should I pick of the flowers please
Dogs have masters, cats have slaves, and horses are just wonderful

I would pick off the flowers of the 6" tall ones...
I sowed two or three of my seeds (I've forgotten now) and kept the rest back just in case - no sign of them yet. Although no sign of Ms-T's purple marconi either. They've now been shifted into the airing cupboard so I'll keep you posted!
