Oh no Ms T! I think it may be verticillium willt...though I'm not entirely sure? It looks like "blight" . Personally I would get rid of the plant just incase it spreads to others. Cut the stem much lower down from the "rot" section. Is it brown inside?

or possibly Phytophthora Blight aka Chile wilt ??
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
Well it was just round that part of the stem,no rot up or down ...so cut it back t0 about 3" and its now in the garden under a dome.
All other plants look ok.
It was pretty much the right heat for me, maybe a little more kick needed, it didn't burn the skin off my tongue but I did get the sweat under the eyes! Haha!
In other more cheery news... Pretty sure one of the crosses is going to flower tomorrow..
That pizza looks lovely cptcrackoff.
Ms-T sorry to see your very unhappy plant. Did you manage to save the chilli's off it?
Postman brought me a parcel yesterday 6 more chilli plants it was supposed to be 9 but never mind, they were free only had to pay postage ( that was the same if you had 1 or 12 ).
The ID guessing games will begin again once the poor little things have recovered from there very traumatic journey .
I've got 2 Jamaican yellow mushroom, 1 Tunisian mild or medium, 1 AJI lemon drop or verde and 2 not got a clue ( nothing written on their pots at all ).

Aahhhhh.....SP ....I know where you got THOSE from ;-)......
Any chance you can help ID them then ladyslip? Because I haven't got a shocking clue !
2 pots have jam yellow mushroom ( Jamaican yellow mushroom, if we can believe what's written on the pots)
2 pot nothing written on them ( surprise chilli's, I like surprises)
1 pot has TUN written on it ( guessing Tunisian mild or medium, only thing on their website with TUN )
1 pot has AR or AIL ( not clear) written on it. ( nothing on their website has anything listed with those initials). I first thought it was AJI on the pot so I thought lemon drop or verde but it definitely isn't. This is confirmed by the chilli's already on the plant ! Wrong shape for lemon drop or verde.
Go on ladyslip work your magic. I don't mind if you can't ID the 2 with nothing written on there pots
