I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

      • I am extremely peed off atm. from the cracking 8 or so Padron plants i had ( thanks Scarlet ) , i seem to have totally blown thelot.
I have one left and it looks really sorry for itself, think i may have potted on a bit too earlybut , i dunno, gutted.
Dont think the lone survivor will make it either.

          • What happened Jack? Did you overwater them?

Chris, not sure if it was you now (would have to search for the post ) said you were tring to overwinter some cold tolerant chillies in the greenhouse? Did they make it?

              • I think i must have Scarlet.
Potted on a bit too early and too much dwr, everything else no worries but im not hopefull for the sole survivor, she is number one for TLC .

How can the price of posting ten chilli seeds cost the same and more than the cost of the seeds

                • So, been out searching and no Padron seeds to find. None at Real seeds and not paying nearly 4 pound postage at tand m or anywhere else for that matter. . Actually found some on amazon for 27 pence and 4.99 postage lol so i think ill pray for the one survivor i have to come good.

Anyway bought these instead "RAAM", anyone grown them ?. 1000 - 5000 on the Sscale so could be a good replacement, a pepper with a bit of a bite.

                        • Afternoon all,

Just wanted to know the best place to buy chilli seeds?
I've bought some from an ebay seller last year but they seem to be duds so was hoping for some guidance from the experienced chilli growers in this forum.

                          Many thanks

                          • Ive also had a few duds from Amazon, Real Seeds is a good place to start but there are plenty of specialist chilli growing sites out there.
Any summer chilli festivals around your way ?.

Earlier on in this thread there are some great links to chilli suppliers - I Think it was Chris who posted them. Though as Jack has said, real seeds is a great start. What chillies are you wanting to grow? It's a a bit late to start some of the superhots.

                              • Sorry to hijack slightly but...
This is probably the most popular chilli thread, and I am hoping to overwinter these..

Do you think these Hungarian hot wax need potting up or pinching out yet? Thanks.
