Watching a different video online, they advocate removing all but the top three leaves as well as the growing tip..now that did look brutal..

Just google your chilli name and anywhere selling those seeds should say what 'type' of chilli it is - there are a few 'types', Anuum and Chinense are the only ones i can remember offhand.

The old cayenne is annuum and so are Hungarin hot wax, and Aci sivri
and the Fiercracker is a Hybrid.did'nt know that.

If a plant looks like it's branching of its own accord I don't bother pinching out. The plants that grow tall with no side shoots get nipped.Last edited by Scarlet; 06-04-2016, 06:17 PM.
