Remember just the "annums" SP!

After working out which of my chilli's were annums . I've only got cayenne, jalapeño and my sweet bell peppers, That I can decapitate. Thank my tiny little brain for choosing chilli's that have cool names, rather than what type they are

What the hell is an annum chilli?

Just google your chilli name and anywhere selling those seeds should say what 'type' of chilli it is - there are a few 'types', Anuum and Chinense are the only ones i can remember offhand.

the 'type' will be preceded by the word 'Capsicum'

The old cayenne is annuum and so are Hungarin hot wax, and Aci sivri
and the Fiercracker is a Hybrid.did'nt know that.

I'm pretty sure Habanero are from the chinense family. Did you look on the Internet or look on the seed packet. I wouldn't prune a habanero as shown in the video, they are very slow growing and you would be taking many weeks worth of growth out.
If a plant looks like it's branching of its own accord I don't bother pinching out. The plants that grow tall with no side shoots get nipped.
