    • Scotch bonnets

My first attempt at chillies this year. I've been growing tomatoes to try a chutney but the bonnets while growing seem to be slow. Tomatoes are only just flowering aswell, not been the warmest summer so far in Northern Ireland and I might have been a bit late moving them into their final pots etc....but if anything grows I'll show yous! 😊 @becomingdadni

              • How big are your plants and what varieties are you growing? If you have room inside the house come late September the plants can be brought inside and the fruit will ripen indoors.

                Have you hot any photos?

                  • A quick up-date on Bill & Ben (Anchos) that redeemed themselves and are now living permanently in GH.

Both appear to be doing ok, both have fruits on them and more flowers, so thanks to your advice given (Miss-T/Scarlet re getting rid of greenfly) - looks like they survived the attack..!

                          • January 28th!

Looking at them, the trimmed is obviously going to have more fruit but I'm not sure they'll be as big as the untrimmed.. it's possible if the trimmed one keeps growing and doesn't produce large fruits.. I may stick to not cutting in future!
