        • Nope definitely not the flower. They're still so tiny though! They're still firm, don't feel rotten. Very odd!

...Lots of chillies go green>chocolate>black>red during ripening. I must admit they do look like they're going rotten at the brown stage!

            • Yes I understand that Ms-T but I've never known the ripening to take place before the chilli has actually grown?! These are literally 3-4 days after the flower has dropped. And the colour change happened in the space of a day!

                • Vix, they look normal...some of my lemon drop have darker sides where the sun don't shine , give then a few weeks.
Miss C...I'm stumped! Though would like a few updates, cos they look interesting

                  • A quick update on Anchos Bill & Ben (you might remember they previously had a greenfly infestation and I thought they were doomed....)

Pic taken this morning in GH ~ some lovely green chillis being produced ........

                      • Hi di hi all

Tasted my first chilli two days ago.
Green, but quite a tidy size, only decent size on the plant.
Anyway, cut a long story short, quite a kick, a gorgeous tang and i cant wait till their all ready, what was it ?

                        Lemmondrop, what a stunner

Such a show off! I've got them now...on my indoor plants, just been waiting for someone to help me get them out to the greenhouse.

They are fruiting well though...the fruits look terrifying
