Chillies - what are you growing/overwintering?

My brother is growing chillies for the first time. He sent me a photo with a message "help what are these" they look disgusting he's zoomed in on the "little white bits!" Yuk they give me the creeps close up

Are you in a companion with brother scarlet? If you are, tell him the chilli is just fine

Are these only for plants or do you use them for seeds as well?

plants i use the heated propagator for seed ,as soon as they pop up they go under the lights.

These are my Guindilla's. They are about 10cm's long. There's only 3 of them.

Does anyone know when is the best time to harvest them?

I'm so tempted to try one but I'd rather know if they're ready yet. I know Guindilla peppers are usually harvested when they're still green/lime but I'm still not sure exactly when to pick them.

This is a long shot but do any of our resident chilli growers have a polytunnel and greenhouse?
Which one gets the best chilli results in your opinion? I'm guessing there's very little difference.

( yes I'm getting a greenhouse, just planning the best thing to grow in it. Thought I'd start with my favourite)
