Epicure is one of the potatoes grown as Ayrshire New Potatoes / Ayrshire Earlies - an immature potatoe grown in Ayrshire, Scotland.
It is small in size, 15 – 70mm diameter, due to the young age. The potato is round or oval in shape with a soft skin and distinctive strong earthy nutty flavour and aroma. It has a creamy texture - add lots of butter and eat on its own for lunch.
if left to grow, can catch blight.

I normally get Dunluce as my first earlies and nobody has them at the moment and for reasons too complicated to explain, I need to order my seed potatoes now and was thinking about Epicure.
