I grow a centiflor tomato from Real Seeds which has masses of small fruits, apparently they're much bigger than currant ones (never grown them) but they are amazing. First year I grew two plants, big mistake, FAR too many fruits, I can hardly keep up with one they produce so much!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I'd like to jar , freeze , as well as chutneys so I'm happy with a Huuuge glut!
We'll not be going away over the summer so I'm happy to pick them daily.

So....perhaps I'll sow 10 seeds to allow for any which fail to germinate.

      Getting excited now!

I don´t have a problem with birds, apart from them stealing the chicken food, i guess that distracts them.

Yes i forgot they make a wonderful chutney. Thats what i have done 10 seeds and i think 11 popped up
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

You'll be picking forever Nicos i often grow broad ripple yellow currant, they are about 1-1.5cm. There's masses on one plant. I do get fed up with picking them. Do you always get hit with blight early? Why not try some early maturing bush toms? Good for cooking/chutney.

Oh Lord... why have I opened a tomato thread? Vowed not to buy any tomato seeds this year and already I can see myself breaking yet another promise to myself. If anyone's seen my willpower, would you mind sending it back to me please? Cheers.

I bought the tomatoes from a car boot sale over here and saved the seeds and sent a pile over to VC.
If she runs out I can send direct to you if you send me a SAE ( don't stick the stamp on!!! )
