Whilst getting a little lost on our way to the cinema yesterday, we drove past a massive place that grows onion seedlings, well they obviously do not care about the area and it was a dump but lots and lots of these trays were just laying around so I brought home 6!!! Only good for leeks, onions etc but couldn't help myself, anyway I was thinking of the environment

A local church just outside our little town is surrounded by woods/trees. In the autumn they rake or suck up all these leaves and throw them on the pile with chipped wood from the pruning and grass clippings.
I have helped by removing two car trailer loads of this wonderful mixture for mulching but it's hardly made an impression on the heap yet. I guess I'll have to go fork some more this weekend.
I too love free stuff.

I used them occasionally when I worked in a wild flower nursery.
