How many mangetout plants?

I grow them similar to gringo, 3 rows of seeds 3 inches apart but the middle row is off-set so its in the middle of the other two.

(I tried doing a picture but the autospell on my phone kept putting full stops and capitals).

Hi, i am assuming you are around the Granada area? I really struggle in the Almeria area to grow any sorts of beans and peas, it just gets far too hot for them.

So i bought a strip of mangetout the other day, and have potted them on - 19 plants for £2, which i dont think is bad! Each plant is now 8-10" tall. As i wont be ready to plant for a couple more weeks, would you pinch them out?
