I signed a petition against it the other day
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

It's just one of those things, some people just don't like big Pharma companies - whatever they do.
I wish glyphosate was used less often, but banning it completely? I'm not sure ...
Personally I think it is more important to ban genetic modification NOW!

Well, Comfrey isn't adding new carcinogens to the soil.
The issue with GM is the same as this - it needs to be up to the company proposing it to demonstrate it's safe - and keep demonstrating it's safe by science, not by lobbying and tying to roll regulators over.

I do not think it should be banned. However it should be stricker controlled. Since coming off patent it has been too easy to make the decision to use it. One case would be spraying crops, especially milling wheat, pre harvest with it. Doing this would add to drying costs, but Warbutons & Weetabix I believe pay a premium for this not to be done by thier contract growers which is passed on in slightly higher product prices
