How awful for you . Wind is horribly destructive. A few years ago it managed to demolish my brick garage, ripping off the roof and hurling the lot into my newly planted back garden.
At least if it was polycarbonate you won't be dodging lethal shards of glass for years, but that's not much comfort I'm sure.A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP. - Leonard Nimoy

Oh no...(I dreaded checking up outside this morning after all the wind we'd had....we were very lucky) - I'm really sorry to hear about your greenhouse.
Is any of it rescuable???
(I had a look at your blog half expecting to see the piccie on there to check out the damage but there isn't one)
Is there anything you could do to prevent the same thing from happening again????"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Morning All
That was a night that was!
Firstly I hope everyone is safe? Been out and checked the garden and all seems OK but I can see a few gaps in the tree line across the fields. Will go and check the allotment out later but the worse that can have happened is material loss and that's replaceable.
I hope no one suffered too much damage

I'm so sorry Mark....what a horrible sight for you this morning.
Our garden is destroyed....but that's okay we were redesigning anyway, its a real blank canvas now (once we pick up all the debris)
I haven't the courage to go to the plot yet!
If I were you Mark, I would collect all you can find of your greenhouse. Straighten what you can, sort and count the panes.
Lots of people will be in the same predicament as you this morning. Those whose frames are trashed will have panes to barter....those with salvageable frames will need panes.
Time to have a strong cuppa and sort out which applies to you.
Apparently we've another round of gales coming through tomorrow.....
