I have 10 x 30 ltr pots and I'm planning to grow Sarpo Mira potatoes in them. I was wondering if I should just put one in each or if two would be OK ??

I grew sarpo mira in 30 litre pots last year, I put 2 in a pot and used spuds galore fertiliser, got huge potatoes -

I would also go with 2, i have pushed some 57ltr pots to 5 but think that will be too much but they are early´s and i love tiny potatoes.I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

I would suggest 2 is the maximum.
I use pots that take a full bag of compost so about 70 litres and I put either 3 or occasionally 4 in these. 4 is because I usually put PFA or Anya's in them so of potato is not the aim.
The mix I use is usally 50/50 compost/manure or 2/3 compost and 1/3 manure.Comment
