I was in Homebase today with all the other bank holiday folk and walked past a selection of plug plants which I could not resist, nice and cheap but after purchasing I thought that I should have considered the weather as we have some minus weather (-1 on Wednesday) in Birmingham this week so I'll keep them in the south facing front room until the weather looks a bit warmer.
However I have a day off tomorrow and a tray of 'onward' peas, I am aware the cold isn't so bad for these dudes so I thought a teepee might be an option for them. Space is limited in my wee garden, I am going to put my Wilja spuds in the ground too after chitting them.
Any tips ?
As a tip for any plug plant purchasers, I got some rainbow chard, red russian kale, lettuce, borage, mint and peas for 11 quid. Not that shabby.
