Lord Leicester grew well for me last year. I kept having to nip the tops back, I wouldn't have been able to reach the top otherwise.When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Ne Plus Ultra is a good old variety featured in the Victorian Kitchen Garden. I grew Telephone last year which did well but I think I may revert to Ne Plus Ultra this year.My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
