Has anyone ever grown sweet potatoes? Are they easy to grow? I understand you have to buy slips, but these seem really expensive! Is it possible to grow these yourself from a shop potato? If the yield is good, then maybe they are worth the cost.

I did try them a couple weeks f years ago, they do take up a lot of space, and really like the sun, mine were outside, not very successful, I did get a few small tubers, but wouldn't bother again, as I don't know have the space. But if you have space then give them a go, they ramble across the groundDottyRComment
