I sowed all my raised beds about 3 weeks ago, just in time for the weather to get colder and much wetter, we went away to visit family and came back to everything as it was, nothing growing, just like last year where even 3 sowings produced very little due to lack of light/warmth for the whole summer, I was hoping for a better start this year but not to be it seems..

I know how how you feel, BUFFS, i've already made two sowings of beetroot this year, at the end of Feb and beginning of March, and nothing's come up. Also no peas have germinated, even in my polytunnel.

keep trying Buffs - you'll get there. I'm sure this is why they put soooooo many seeds in the packets

Could could try chitting a couple of beetroot seeds to make sure they are viable.
I know how you feel but there is still plenty of time
