think it would take me nearly as long to blend the amount of comfrey leaves I need for tea as just waiting for it to decomposes naturally.added to the fact there is no power at the lottie and I would have to transport leaves home, then transport jollop back in the car, I think i'll just stick with ramming it in the barrel with water or packing into tubes to produce a concentrate
don't be afraid to innovate and try new things
remember.........only the dead fish go with the flow
As Snakeshack no power on the allotment, I have a comfrey pipe that makes me concentrate which I add to a water butt so I have comfrey tea on tap. in addition early in the season if I don't have any over from last year, I make a giant tea bag using a Christmas chocolate sweet tin (which are now plastic) use my soldering iron to melt holes in stuff with chopped comfrey cable tie shut and place in the barrel to get it going.
