I made some 1ft square Beetroot sheets & the ones I have laid have germinated so seems to work.

Mine are in modules too for now. Last year I lost all my seedlings overnight that had been sown in the ground which was very frustrating! Thankfully we got a lovely crop from the tunnel so I've started some Boltardy in modules and will start sowing direct in the tunnel once I get it sorted in the coming week...it's still got a few perennials under cover which need to go outdoors and a load of bamboo canes fort my bean poles.

        Hi Frana,

I am sorry you had this issue, we have had this issue before and are looking into a reason that this could happen.
I have merged you two accounts together and you will now have the same permissions as before when you log in with your username Frana.

Great, thank you! I'll keep giving it a try - and hopefully will have plenty of questions soon (not had a garden for the last couple of years, but looking to move and start growing my own this year or early next!)

on Tuesday I had young beetroot @ around 1-2cm tall, a full bed of them, but on Wednesday there was nothing, zilch, slugs and snails, so Friday I sowed a load into modules in the greenhouse to get them off to a good start, hopefully they will catch up... just looked outside to see sleet and hail, absolutely bucketing down, don't you just love british summers..
