Last of the few strawberries we had from gifted strawberry plants (note to self - research how to have a strawberry patch that produces like the neighboring allotments, out numbered mine 100 fruits to 1)

1 courgette, one left too late so will be a marow

Potatoes - should have left for longer and watered more. Enough to have made mash for my eldest tea tonight. Still got 3 bags going so will leave for longer

This is the first time I post in this thread! Finally I have harvested something too.. a few spring onions and salad and spinach leaves that I made into a lovely prawn salad. Very happy with how the spring onions look.

Just watched Monty Don on Gardeners World (I think?) and it was his birthday. Traditionally he dug up his first spuds and broad beans on that day...................just as i did yesterday!

First courgettes, globe artichokes, nearly 1.5kg of beautiful dessert gooseberries, shallots, peas, rhubarb, first earlies. It feels like summer is finally arriving.
