  • Me neither. I am going to google "huazontle" to see what that is!
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

      • Spelt it wrong - huauzontle! Got it from realseeds. Steamed it & lovely, easy to grow but germination a little erratic. Get plenty enough seeds in pack though. Gave lots away as didn't want to grow to many but wish I'd kept them. Big bed next year!

Picked my first broccoli raab - thinnings really. Having in stir fry tomorrow.
        Another happy Nutter...

Nearly forgot. First sweet corn too absolutely delicious

                          • First climbing french beans which were put in a pot quite late. They were so tender even though I'd left some of the pods a couple of weeks on the plant so others could catch up in size.

                            • Radish pods I think they taste much nicer than the actual radishes.
