Anyone seen a cheap garden arch, preferably metal, in any of the £ shops or cheapy places, please? Need a replacement.

I got mine either wilco or eBay £8 couple hrs ago. Not the strongest tbh but still standing.Northern England. -

I bought a couple of cheapo ones from L&dl a few years ago and although cheap I wouldn't buy them again as they only lasted a couple of seasons before collapsing under the weight of some runner beans (they'd rusted at ground level). Spent more on a better one and it'll last me far longer and not risk my crops. If you want something cheap and cheerful I'd just build it out of bamboo canes.

Stick four living willow branches in the ground, tie them together at the top, done. Will outlive you.Comment

Yes, but I won't be able to move it each season, and the growing willow will need tending, and will compete with what I'm training up the arch.... ;-)
In related new, I do wish I could find someone locally to supply me with hazel bean poles.... sighs.Comment

Once the cheap arches rot at the bottom they still work well tied into posts or bamboo canes. Doesn't look that pretty, but it's only an allotment. And you don't see it when the green takes over.http://mudandgluts.com - growing fruit and veg in suburbiaComment
