I grow them every year. They are a bit tender just like peas really. They won't need support, but you won't get much from 2plants. The pods usual only have one chick pea in. I grow the as much for thier ornamental value as anything. They are really pretty plants. I usually just soak shop bought one (for eating) and soak them over night and then treat as peas. They won't need any support. My dad used to grow them every year, he just put them straight in the ground as the came out of the packet.Dogs have masters, cats have slaves, and horses are just wonderful
