We have a few tom's on our Black Cherry and our (unknown) italian tom's, but they're all green. They've been there and very slowly growing for several weeks now, but aren't rippening
Give them time. I still reckon it's early to expect toms to ripen.
I'm with you on this Flum but the good weather last year spoiled us, I did nothing different and was already harvesting them by the bowl full this time last year - oh for a bit of sun!
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
you are lucky if you have tomatoes nearly everyone has lost or losing their tomatoes to blight, I am picking off the leaves hoping that the tomatoes will soon turn red.
mine are only just getting the first tomatoes on the first truss! I don't know what I did wrong this year. The only thing I can think of is that I left them in their small pots too long before planting them out as I was waiting to finish the bed to put them in. Jealous of you having lots!
I was quite the opposite willowstar. Put mine in their final buckets far too early I think and I'm only just getting fruit set now.
