I've just potted on some tomato seedlings...well, plants really.
They're a little bit leggy from being on the windowsill too long, but not excessively so.
The thing is, they have almost NO roots!
I'm expecting a nice tight little rootball, ready to go up from large module to small pot and what I've got is ridiculously top-heavy plants...two sets of true leaves, each leaf 2-3 inches long....and no roots.
Does this mean there is something very wrong with my compost?
